During the 1st nine weeks we will be focusing on heat and thermal physics. The links on the following website will help you to learn/review the concepts we will be covering in class. The website is

During the 2nd nine weeks we will be covering chemistry. Other useful sites include
www.webelements.com, and the one listed above.During the 3rd nine weeks we will focus on heredity/genetics. The section on the vision learning that will be most helpful here is in the additional resources section.
Finally, to close out the year we study biology. Focusing on bacteria/monerans, protists, fungi, and ending with plants. Mr. Schreiber and I are beginning a research project with Virginia Tech to restore pure American Chestnut trees. This will involve volunteer labor and any help you can provide in the spring will be appreciated. This will begin in the school year 2005-2006.
