novels throughout the year,
which may alter this schedule.
*Science and Social Studies:
We will read and review each lesson, daily, while
following along with notes and activities. At times, students will be required
to fill in notes for homework, which are taken directly from the reading or
experiences.
*These notes and lesson reviews are extremely important and will be study guides
for the tests.
*Math
Our new Math
series provides a great deal of information, new and old, as well as practice
for our students. At times we will work to complete 1-3 lessons a day, with
review to follow. Each lesson gives useful information in the book, as well as
on the worksheets, part of which are assigned for homework.
*The worksheets should
be saved and referred to as cumulative tests/end of Chapter tests arrive, in
order to review and reteach the skills that have been discussed.

*Homework is an opportunity to
reinforce particular skills at home,
which are being taught in school. We review our
own homework
the day it is due, in order to see where we were
successful
and/or made mistakes. It is best to solve our own
problems,
rather than confuse them with somebody else's!

homework, please allow a short break or have a calm discussion over the issue.
