  1. Monday : Students will begin a new story and will be assigned to read it. A reading slip will be sent home for you to sign.

  2. Tuesday: Students should study for spelling pretest, which will be given on Wednesday, and should continue to practice reading the story of the week.
  3. Wednesday: Students will take the spelling pretest. If they get 100% on this test, they will not have to take the test Friday. Students will have a take-home book to read on this night.
  4. Thursday: Students should continue to practice reading the story of the week and study the vocabulary and the spelling words.
  5. Friday: Students will take tests on the reading story and vocabulary words. The spelling posttest will be given to those students who did not get 100% on Wednesday’s test.

*Students should study addition and subtraction facts every night and keep reading for Accelerated Reading.

There will be times when we will need to modify the schedule. When this happens will send a not home so you will be aware of any changes in our routine. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at school.
