2.     Performance Question:**Using the Harcourt Brace story Frog and Toad Together, The Garden, students will create a story map, showing topic, main idea, and details.

Activity:Using Frog and Toad Together, The Garden, students will use drawing to show the relationship between Frog and Toad.  They will share their drawing and discuss the friendship betwen Frog and Toad.  Using Don't Laugh at Me, Unit 5 (graduation), students will conduct a Promises Giveaway.  Each child will bring something from home thay are prepared to give away.  The items will be put in the center of a student-made circle.  Students move around the circle to music, stopping when music stops.  Students pick up nearest gift, find who it is from and discuss its meaning.  Make a Promises Giveaway, as Frog and Toad.

 

Duration: 2-30 minute classes
