1. Paper/Pencil:* Who did the Three Billy Goats Gruff meet on the way to the green grass on the other side of the bridge?

 

 

 

     Answer:  The troll

 

 

 

2.  Performance Question:.  Students will be able to retell, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, in sequence or tell what the story is about.

 

 

     Assessment Tool:

Discussion, teacher observation, picture making

 

 

 

Activity:* Ask the students what a stranger is.  Ask if they could describe a stranger. Read Never Talk to Strangers, after reading, discuss the story. Reinforce  the lesson by showing the video, The Berenstain Bears: Don’t Talk to Strangers.

 

 

 

 

 

Duration: One 30minute class period
