Practice adding and subtracting fractions with like denominators, reducing
fractions, and finding equivalent fractions.
Practice measuring object to the nearest ¼ in. Review customary units of weight and length.
Spelling
We
write the vocabulary words and definitions on Monday and listen to the story.
We
practice comprehension, vocabulary, and writing concepts that correspond to the
story throughout the week. Test is on
Friday.

We
practice daily. There isn’t usually
nightly homework, but eventually the journal will be taken for an English
grade. The topic is given on Monday. The journal is due Friday, no exceptions. PRONOUNS and ANTECEDENTS. More practice with inventive writing,
similes, metaphors, and personification.
